"Convenient but a rip off"
I have ordered a few times and haven’t had any major issues but my recent order did! I was charged for an insect repellent that I never received and an item I requested to be refunded if not in stock was replaced with something completely different. I checked my online receipt against the printed receipt from the driver and items I’m being charged for through the app aren’t even on the printed receipt! I requested a refund for missing and incorrect items and after getting a refund for the missing items, the totals (without all the fees) don’t even match. I called customer service and she said it states online that the prices can be different. I get that but when you have your online receipt and your printed receipt next to each other and check everything (subtracting the missing and replaced items) the totals still don’t match. Not sure where they are hiding fees on top of their other fees but it’s a little ridiculous.

"Never again ...."
Bad bad .. don't even think in using instacart .. I ordered 2 subs today from publix with other groceries.. I drove there and I stucked in traffic I brought my stuff home to figure out that they didn't had my subs and my kids were starving.. I called publix they said that they didn't receive any subs order and it shows in my app that it's been placed .. it was my first and last time trying instacart....

"I had to use Instacart due to a…"
I had to use Instacart due to a foot/ankle injury. When being delivered not only was it the person indicated on the site that came to my door but she had a man with her. I decided not to open the door until they left as I felt unsafe due to this and they did not deliver a $15 dollar jug of litter that I was charged for. When reporting to Instacart, instead of giving me my money back they said they only gave an option for a credit to be used on their account again. I immediately deleted my account and will no longer be using. If your employees f@%$€ up I should get my money back the same way I paid. Also my cold items were clearly not stored in a cold bag as advertised. Yogurt was room temp and the ice cream had melted. Would NOT recommend!!

"Bad service, app glitch, poor customer service"
First of all this afternoon i was ahving issue for ordering as app was having some glitch then when i was able to order then another glith .
On my side i can see correct delivery address for my home but at my delivery driver's end, different address was showing .. then i spoke to customer service rep who said we cant do anything. We r sorry .. and then she said oh you know what you can delete the directions you mentioned with your address may be that the issue.
How can directions with my address cam be issue. Directions were its a side door down the black stairs.
Then she said we can just cancel and u can reorder.
I mean what if i dont have money to reorder and now i am also stuck with my refund to be processed in 5- 7 business days.
What if i reorder and app glitches again so i am again stuck with no groceries and second refund pending.
I mean cmon . You could have just told driver to deliver to this address by using google maps. She was not that far from me..
For all this inconvenience u were just sorry. Do better instacart
This was such a big inconvenience.

I thought that paying the $99 membership fee meant the deliveries would be free, except for the tip. Not true. I can’t even see a phone number on the app where to call them. They charged me the membership fee without asking me. I really wanted to cancel after the trial period. They were great for the trial period but then I had to pay about $30 for $68 of groceries

"Made an order on costco online on…"
Made an order on costco online on sunday which happened to be a public holiday. so i paid around 180 for a microwave. Funny thing the microwave price went on sale on monday in costco warehouse. so the actual guy who went to grab the microwave paid 120 dollars and they still charged me 180. which is like the biggest scam ever. went to complain to costco and they refunded me. But instacart support is the s.... ever. dont u deal with them, u will regret it.

I'm like a lot of other people where do I start? I have dealt with Instacart for so long and for the last three months, I have had nothing but agony with them. They always get the order wrong and talking to their customer. Service is very poor I would not recommend this outfit anybody

I have had the same experience since May 5th that some of you have had. One of my cards got messed up, so I couldn't use it. So, I asked my roommate to use his, and I'd pay him back. They wanted verification with ID and card, as y'all said, and the "team" would get back to me by email in 24-48 hours. Today's the 11th.
I called the other day to follow up as to why my account hadn't been unlocked, or I wasn't contacted. I just got off the phone a few minutes ago today (5/11) and chewed the person out because it is still being unlocked and has to have verification like that.
I also told him that if I'm charged the $99 yearly fee after the two-week trial ends due to not being able to get into my account to cancel it before I'm charged, I will be taking this further.
He kept apologizing for the inconvenience. My butt. It's an inconvenience because I had to replace my card due to it being messed up. It's an inconvenience that I haven't been able to purchase items due to new food allergy restrictions I can no longer have them and have to overhaul my diet.
I asked him, what if he were in my shoes? I told him I had better get someone to fix this before the end of the day today, or it's not going to go well for the business end of them.
Oh, and get this. I'm VERY upset and he told me that MY language was not allowed. I'm a customer. I've worked in several customer service jobs.
You need to listen to your customer's concerns and quit saying I understand and I'm sorry for the inconvenience and do something about it! MNakes no sense they couldn't fix that right then and there with all the technology we have!

"Charged for trial period. What the hell?"
I was on my trial period and still had 2 weeks left. They charged me $99 2 weeks before time and so I cancelled it. Still haven't seen my refund and it's been 3 days.

"Where do I begin"
Where do I begin? I ordered about $100 worth of groceries and I added a $15 tip. My shopper had to cancel the order because of an emergency. Instacart took it apon their self to reschedule for tomorrow. I called to ask why the customer service lady said if you would have tipped you would have gotten priority! Mind you I gave a $15 tip. I asked if I could have my groceries tonight as planned and she said yes for an extra $3.99! What are you talking about I already paid extra to have it prioritized for today!! She simply said I'm sorry there's nothing we can do. I also brought up that last week they had to cancel because they couldn't find a shopper at all and she simply said I'm sorry! No reconciliation for two incidents!

"Account hacked and instacart"
My account was hacked and somebody made multiple purchases for gift cards. I let instacart know and they immediately deactivated my account and told me their fraud team will reach out to me within 48 hrs, and I haven't heard back from them ever since, I reached out again to their customer service and they told me they will definitely reach out for sure that they marked my request as priority. It's been a week now and nothing!! Instesd of apologizing for all the inconvenience and giving me my money back they are making this so hard. My husband's account was hacked 3 weeks prior to mine , someone is hacking instacart and instacart is not doing much about it.

If your shopper doesn’t bring the correct items many times they claim your abusing and manipulating and ban you from any complaints .. ok so now I’m at the mercy of the shoppers who don’t know what they are doing and if you send proof still doesn’t matter .. don’t use this service.. I shopped with them for two years .. and if their shoppers screw up too much YOU are the problem ..
